Community Nurses

The District Nursing Team are in close contact with the doctors and staff. Their duties are varied, but their priority is to provide skilled nursing care for acute, chronic and terminally ill patients in the familiar environment of their own homes when they are unable to travel to the surgery. They also provide advice and support for families caring for the sick or elderly. You can leave a message for them via our Reception.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
Our Health Visitor, along with our nurses, run a Baby/immunisation Clinic on Tuesday afternoons starting from 1.30pm. You can contact the Health Visitor directly on 01452 891497
